Bluebird Five-in-One Trailers

BLUE BIRD 5-IN-1 RANGE

This trailer system is supremely versatile. We're pleased to be offering for the first time a child trailer, which meets all European safety standards. The all-aluminium base means that the trailer is slightly heavier than fabric trailers, but it will last far longer, and is stronger and safer.
The standard hitch clamps over the seat and chain stays, and is secured by a single large bolt.
If you have disk brakes you will need the axle-fitting hitch. N.B. make sure you use a good-quality steel skewer.
The raised cargo bars are easily fitted onto the base in about 10 minutes, for load carrying.

Base Unit
 Steel base with steel rims and steel surround frame. Weight 10.2kg
The trailer unit has a tray measuring 67 x 55 x 13cm, with an overall width of 86cm. The wheels are 71cm apart for stability. Quick-release 20" wheels with pneumatic tyres, and quick-release tow-bar. A standard bike hitch is included.

Child Top
The child top measures a roomy 61cm wide internally and can take one or two children. 5-point safety harnesses are fitted to EU requirements. A roomy storage area can be found behind and under the seat. The front mesh can be protected with a roll-down rain cover. Internal 'nick-nack' pockets are fitted, and a safety flag is also included.

Dog Top
The dog top and child top can be fitted in about 15 minutes. The fabric sides are screwed down around the edge of the tray, and the arched frame is bolted onto the trailer base. The dog top has heavy-duty mesh on all four sides, so your 4-paw companion keeps cool and can see all around.

Stroller Conversion
The stroller conversion consists of the push-bar and removable front wheel. The trailer has a storage place for the wheel when you are towing it.

Two brake callipers are included, and the push-bar has a parking brake facility.

Cargo Bars
Simply attach these sturdy side extending bars to give your base unit extra carrying capacity.

Transporting a 5-in-1 trailer is easy, and no tools are required.

  • First take off the towbar and QR wheels and put them into the base.
  • Undo the catches and fold the sides (where fitted) down on top.
  • The folded trailer measures 73 x 86 x 16cm
